I'm not aiming at 50 this year. I want to concentrate more on writing, and reading, as much as I love it does take some time.
Just finished 'We Were Liars' by E Lockhart and about to start 'Just a Couple of Days' by Tony Vigorito.

I love book recommendations so welcome all suggestions.

Here's to 2015!!!!

2014 has just ended. There is not enough words to describe how happy I am that its over. To say it didn't go so well is putting it mildly.

I went through 4 jobs, put my heart on the line for someone and was turned down (it could have gone much worse to be fair and he was at least nice about it) and felt the passage of time start to pass me by. I didn't achieve anything significant, unless you count eating my body weight in Mexican food an achievement. My resolution for 2014 was to read 50 books. I completed the task but as much as reading is enjoyable, I tend to use it as an excuse to avoid life. I avoid people and situations who make me even the slightest bit uncomfortable. Avoiding life is easy, its safe. But it doesn't achieve anything or make me happy.

Everyone wants to be happy, thats pretty obvious. Some people just seem to have an easier time of it than others.

I thought by this point in my life that I'd have more things figured out. But I have faith that all things happen in time.

The job wasn't right for me, the guy wasn't right for me (although I was completely convinced at the time that he was), and my age, can't really do anything about that.

We can only change certain things in life. Have influence over your own little part and try to make the best that you can of everything else.

Also, a slice of cake can solve many problems (I'm not a doctor, so maybe don't go crazy with that advice).

Here's to 2015! Good luck!
